The Printing Process
Quality starts with the right materials. At Decor Art Factory, we use archival-quality inks — pigment-based formulations that resist fading for decades, not years. Our prints are produced on:
- Premium matte paper: 200gsm acid-free stock with a smooth, gallery-worthy finish. Ideal for fine art prints and botanical illustrations.
- Canvas: 380gsm poly-cotton blend, stretched over kiln-dried pine frames. The texture adds depth and warmth that paper alone can't replicate.
- Satin paper: A subtle sheen that enhances photographic prints and adds richness to color-heavy designs.
Every print is produced using high-resolution digital printing technology calibrated to reproduce colors with exceptional accuracy. We print in small batches to maintain quality control at every stage.
Framing & Finishing
Our frames are sourced from certified sustainable timber suppliers. Each frame is hand-assembled and inspected before pairing with a print. We offer:
- Natural oak frames — our most popular finish, warm and versatile
- Black frames — graphic and contemporary
- White frames — soft and gallery-like
Every framed print includes UV-protective acrylic glazing — not glass — which is lighter, shatter-resistant, and provides superior protection against UV fading. Hanging hardware is pre-installed on every frame, so your print is ready to hang the moment it arrives.
Packaging & Global Shipping
We ship worldwide from our production facility. Every order is carefully packaged to survive the journey:
- Prints are rolled in acid-free tissue and shipped in rigid cardboard tubes (for unframed prints)
- Framed prints are wrapped in protective foam corners and double-boxed for maximum protection
- Canvas prints are wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed with corner protectors
We offer tracked shipping to over 50 countries, with delivery typically within 7–14 business days. Every shipment includes a tracking number so you always know where your order is.
Quality Control
Before any print leaves our facility, it goes through a three-stage quality check:
- Color accuracy check: Each print is compared against our master color profile under standardized lighting conditions.
- Surface inspection: Prints are examined for any imperfections — dust, streaks, or inconsistencies — under magnification.
- Frame & packaging inspection: Framed prints are checked for alignment, secure glazing, and proper hardware installation before packaging.
If a print doesn't meet our standards, it doesn't ship. It's that simple.
